Job Summary:

Softscape Technologies is seeking a skilled and motivated Horticulture Supervisor to oversee and manage our horticultural operations in Munigada, Orrisa. As a Horticulture Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all activities related to the cultivation, maintenance, and management of plants and landscapes to ensure they thrive and meet our aesthetic and functional goals.

Responsibilities:

- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the planting, maintenance, and care of plants, trees, shrubs, and lawns across various projects.

- Ensure proper soil preparation, watering, fertilizing, pruning, and pest control measures are implemented.

- Monitor plant health and take corrective actions to address diseases, pests, or nutrient deficiencies.

- Train and supervise a team of horticultural workers, ensuring they perform tasks effectively and safely.

- Schedule and oversee routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, weeding, and mulching.

- Develop and implement landscape designs and improvements according to project requirements.

- Procure necessary tools, equipment, and materials needed for horticultural operations.

- Maintain records of plant inventory, maintenance activities, and expenditures.

- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Requirements:

- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Horticulture Supervisor or similar role, preferably in landscaping or horticultural services.

- Solid knowledge of plant care techniques, landscape maintenance practices, and pest management.

- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively, with strong supervisory skills.

- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.

- Diploma or degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred.

- Certification in pesticide application or irrigation systems would be an advantage.
