Job Summary:

• Conduct advanced research and development in stone fruit horticulture and tissue culture.
• Work in a laboratory setting to propagate, cultivate, and improve stone fruit varieties using tissue culture techniques.
• Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to enhance crop quality, yield, and disease resistance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tissue Culture Propagation:
• Perform tissue culture techniques to propagate stone fruit varieties.
• Maintain and optimize tissue culture protocols.
• Conduct experiments to enhance tissue culture methods and troubleshoot issues.
• Research and Development:
• Design and implement research projects focused on stone fruit improvement.
• Analyze data, interpret results, and prepare detailed reports.
• Stay current with scientific literature and advancements in tissue culture and horticulture.
• Lab Management:
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
• Manage lab inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining records.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with other researchers, agronomists, and stakeholders.
• Present research findings at meetings, conferences, and through publications.
• Provide technical support and training to other staff members.
• Quality Control:
• Monitor and ensure the quality of tissue culture samples and plants.
• Implement and adhere to quality control protocols.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
