Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori, biryanis, and regional specialties.
• Ensure high-quality ingredients and presentation standards in all meals.
• Plan and innovate menus, blending traditional and contemporary Indian cuisine.
• Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory, and cleanliness.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff on Indian culinary techniques and best practices.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with management to enhance menu offerings, control costs, and boost customer satisfaction.
• Accommodate customer preferences, including dietary restrictions and special requests.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Proven experience as an Indian Chef in a professional kitchen.
• Expertise in Indian spices, cooking methods, and regional cuisines.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication abilities.
• Thorough understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Culinary certification or formal training in Indian cuisine is an advantage.
