Job Summary:

Epistemo Vikas Leadership School is seeking a compassionate and qualified Homeroom Teacher to join our primary education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a nurturing and supportive learning environment for students in Grade 1 and 2, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development.

Responsibilities:

Classroom Instruction:

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for core subjects, ensuring alignment with curriculum goals.
Utilize engaging and interactive teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.

Homeroom Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact for students and parents in the homeroom class.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes a sense of community.

Individualized Support:

Provide individualized support to students based on their learning needs and abilities.
Collaborate with special education staff or other specialists when necessary.

Parent Communication:

Maintain regular communication with parents regarding students' progress, behavior, and any concerns.
Conduct parent-teacher conferences and other communication as needed.

Classroom Management:

Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a conducive learning environment.
Establish and maintain clear expectations for behavior and academic performance.

Assessment and Feedback:

Conduct assessments to evaluate students' progress and understanding of key concepts.
Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on academic and behavioral achievements.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with other homeroom teachers, subject teachers, and school staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and contribute to school events.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; Master's degree is a plus. Teaching certification with a focus on primary education. Previous experience as a homeroom teacher or in a similar role is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a passion for fostering the holistic development of young learners.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
