Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Home Automation Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves actively engaging with customers in their locations to showcase and sell our cutting-edge electronic switches. You will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence, building strong customer relationships, and driving our sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Outreach: Conduct in-person visits to potential and existing customers to promote Y5's electronic switches and solutions.
Product Presentation: Effectively demonstrate the features and advantages of our products, tailoring presentations to meet customer needs and address their concerns.
Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through proactive fieldwork and networking activities.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Order Management: Oversee the order process, handle customer inquiries, and provide follow-up support to ensure seamless transactions.
Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to optimize sales strategies.
Performance Metrics: Achieve or exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall success and growth of Y5.
Reporting: Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights. Provide regular updates to the Sales Manager.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in field sales, especially within the electronics or related sector, is highly desirable.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to establish and nurture customer relationships.
Knowledge: Familiarity with electronic switches and their applications is a plus but not mandatory.
Education: High school diploma required; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with sales and CRM software for tracking and managing sales activities.
Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for traveling to client locations.
