Job Opening : HOD For (LAW College)

Provide strategic leadership to the Law department in academic planning, curriculum development, and research initiatives.

Ensure that the department achieves its goals and objectives, aligned with the college's vision and mission.

Oversee departmental administration, including budgeting, resource allocation, and faculty management.

Lead curriculum development and ensure that courses are aligned with industry standards and legal developments.

Monitor the performance of faculty and students and take corrective measures to maintain academic standards.

Organize workshops, guest lectures, and seminars to provide practical exposure to students.

Mentor and support faculty in their teaching, research, and professional development.

Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Ensure that students receive proper academic support, career guidance, and mentorship.

Address student grievances, promote discipline, and foster a positive academic environment.

Supervise internship and placement activities for law students.

Develop and maintain relationships with legal professionals, law firms, government agencies, and other stakeholders.

Collaborate with accreditation bodies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Ph.D. in Law.

Minimum of 5 years of teaching and research experience.

Previous experience in a leadership or administrative role in academia.

Strong background in legal research and publication.

Excellent leadership and organizational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage academic and administrative responsibilities effectively.

Commitment to fostering academic excellence and student success.

A network of industry connections in the legal field is a plus.
