Domain Driver Experiance / HMI Systems Engineering for Daimler Commercial Vehicles Team Our team delivers HMI Systems Engineering and design solutions for instrument cluster and infotainment components for Daimler trucks and Buses. We need you to \'Move the World\' Product Description The aim is to deliver state of the art user experience HMI designs as an end to end solution from requirements phase to development phase to validation phase. We would be working on the latest technologies of HMI development tool chains and adapting to the market trends. Project Open Position Driver Experiance / HMI Systems Engineer (T8) Roles and Responsibilities High Level Understanding of Vehicle Electrical Architecture and Subsystem/Features Good experience on Infotainment / Instrument cluster features / Display Specifications / Graphical requirements Responsible for deriving wholistic System testing methodologies Responsible for Requirement Analysis / effort estimations / work breakdown / Timeline planning on the deliverables Responsible for leading the HMI requirements with cross functional Global teams and Design studio. Deliver HMI interface specifications/Graphics package. Capability to create System Requirements through state machines/sequence diagrams/tabulations Responsible for working out end user oriented multiple HMI proposals and ensure arriving at optimum solutions Responsible as Single Point of Contact to suppliers to clarify the specifications and provide the intended feedbacks Responsible for identifying potential implementation limitations and work out apt alternate strategies for resolution Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelors or Master\'s Degree in Electronics and Communication / Computer Science/Electrical & Electronics/ Masters in Computer Applications, Control Systems 0 - 3years of experience in HMI Systems Engineering activities. Overall experienced in Automotive Embedded System & Software development in HMI Domain for systems consisting of components like, IVI, telematics units, digital clusters, etc. as well as release management. Good understanding of Product development life cycle and V-process Technical Skills Experience in development of HMI Systems Engineering with respect to below activities HMI Wireframe development, Functional to HMI mapping techniques, Graphical package designs. Exposure to Display Specifications/CAN communications Exposure to general Cluster Features/Infotainment Features Exposure to regional specific regulatory requirements and Functional safety needs Experience of Graphics Design tools like Photoshop/Illustrator Experience of graphics development tools like Kanzi, QT Experience in requirement management tools like DOORS, Polarion Experience in requirement capture tools like Visio, Enterprise Architect, UML Exposure to various layers of Software Architecture and Hardware architecture Usage of CANAlyser/CANoE Personal Skills Knowledge on German or Japanese language preferred. Ability to challenge status quo and adapt to change Personal initiative and commitment Well developed communication and teamwork skills
