Roles & Responsibilities:
The position requires an individual that possesses understanding of Plant control system, Networking concepts and Control Server Configuration. Requires expertise in handling complex projects with multiple functions interfacing in support of our end customers.
- Create/Modify Network Topology drawing for Controllers, HMIs, Network equipment using Visio tool.
- Experienced on various Windows operating systems, understands the compatibility matrix for OS and applications.
- Design, implement and support communication networks for control system applications.
- Knowledge of various communication/Industrial protocols (OPC, Modbus, TCP/IP, IEC, DNP3, Profibus, etc).
- Understands VMware and Virtual Machine concepts.
- Has worked on thin client configuration solutions.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting knowledge and experience using PowerCli to administer Vcenter.
- Manage multiple projects / activities.
- Be accountable for quality, on-time schedule performance, project milestones, customer deliverables, and compliance with regulations and standards.
- Lead discussions with customer at project kick off meetings.
- (Hands on experience with Routers, Switches and Firewalls) *Imp
- (Knowledge on configuration of Network Switches, Firewalls, Routers, NTP servers.) *Imp
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Electronics and Tele communication Engineering or equivalent.
- 3-5yrs of experience in this field
- Desired to be a VMware (VCP) certified, Microsoft (MCSE) certified.
- Desired to be a Cisco Certified Networking Professional.
