Financial Reporting: Prepare and review accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
General Ledger Management: Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of transactions and timely reconciliation of accounts.
Month-End and Year-End Close: Coordinate and execute month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and consolidation of financial statements.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgets and forecasts. Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis to support management decisions.
Audit and Compliance: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Supervise and review accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Resolve discrepancies and manage vendor and customer relationships.
Tax Preparation: Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Coordinate with external tax advisors and regulatory bodies as needed.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support. Assist in their professional development and performance evaluations.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Tally, Tally Prime) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation preferred.
Experience : 4 To 6 years
