Work Description and Key Responsibilities

As part of our strategic efforts, we're conducting a detailed analysis of network details from various companies in selected cities. You'll play a crucial role in this project by gathering and analyzing network data to help us understand existing setups.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct On-Site Visits:

o Door-to-Door Data Collection: Visit various companies within your assigned city cluster to collect detailed information about their network infrastructure.

o Preparation: Review company profiles and plan visit schedules in advance.

o Documentation: Use provided templates and tools to document network details accurately.

2. Engage with Key Personnel:

o Interviews: Conduct structured interviews with IT managers, network administrators, and other relevant personnel.

o Information Gathering: Collect information on network types, hardware used, bandwidth requirements, and existing challenges.

o Follow-Ups: Schedule follow-up visits or calls if additional information is needed.

3. Utilize Data Collection Tools:

o Surveys and Questionnaires: Administer pre-designed surveys and questionnaires to ensure uniform data collection.

o Technology Use: Use smartphones and other digital tools for real-time data entry and communication.

4. Secondary Research:

o Industry Reports: Analyze industry reports, public data, and competitor information to complement primary data collection efforts.

o Trend Analysis: Identify industry trends and benchmark data against collected information.

5. Data Analysis:

o Data Entry: Enter collected data into spreadsheets or databases.

o Analysis Techniques: Use statistical methods to identify key trends, network requirements, and potential areas for service improvement.

o Training: Participate in training sessions on data analysis techniques and tools.

6. Report Preparation:

o Documentation: Assist in preparing detailed reports and presentations based on your findings.

o Visual Aids: Use charts, graphs, and other visual aids to present data clearly.

o Review: Participate in review sessions with senior team members to refine reports.

7. Maintain Professionalism:

o Confidentiality: Ensure the confidentiality of the data collected.

o Professional Conduct: Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with company personnel and industry professionals.

o Feedback: Provide regular updates and feedback to supervisors on the progress of data collection.

Qualifications and skills required:

Currently enrolled as a student (preferably final year) in a Bachelor's program from a reputed Indian college.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new concepts quickly.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Self-motivated and resourceful, with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage time effectively.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a willingness to learn.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential.

Strong written and verbal communication skills is a must.

Possession of a smartphone (Android preferred) for data collection and communication purposes.

Possession of a valid motorcycle license and a two-wheeler for transportation during company visits is a plus (Fuel allowance will be provided).
