Adheres to departmental policies, protocols and procedures along with maintain the objectives, quality assurance programs, safety, environmental and infection control standards.

Develop a rehabilitation programme to help rebuild lost skills and restore confidence of patients
To perform the Occupational therapy procedures as per the rehabilitation programme.
Mentor people on how to control their own behavior.
Helping adults and children of all ages to overcome physical and mental problems that are the result of disability, injury or illness.
Write reports and attend multidisciplinary case meetings to plan and review ongoing treatment;
Handles both outpatients and inpatients treatment
Develop a treatment plan for patients, laying out the types of activities and specific goals to be accomplished.
Re-trains patients to walk or to use devices such as walking frames , splints, crutches and wheelchairs
Educates patients, their families and the community to prevent injury and disability and to lead healthy lifestyles
Helps implement community fitness programs
Consults with HOD on resident's progress; maintains appropriate records.
To be compassionate while managing unconscious patients and people with disability.
Participates in educational programs and get involved in Clinical research, to evaluate outcome and present or publish in national / international meetings or journals.
To be part of the Quality Improvement Initiative and protocols of the organization.
