Roles & Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development.
• Teach foundational subjects such as language, mathematics, science, and social studies through engaging and interactive methods.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment where each child feels valued and respected.
• Manage classroom behavior using positive discipline techniques and promote good manners and respect among students.
• Observe and assess each child's development and learning progress, identifying individual needs and tailoring teaching methods accordingly.
• Support children's social and emotional development, helping them develop self-esteem, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain open and regular communication with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
• Organize and conduct parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and other events to engage and educate parents.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom, following health and safety protocols.
• Address and respond to any health or behavioral issues promptly and appropriately.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with educational best practices and child development research.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to improve teaching practices and contribute to the school community.
• Maintain accurate records of each child's academic and developmental progress, attendance, and any incidents.
• Prepare reports and documentation required by the school administration or regulatory bodies.
