Job Description

Edify World School Whitefield, Bangalore is hiring English Teacher with 1-4 years experience in CBSE / Cambridge curriculum.
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English language and literature to students across various grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development and Instruction:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive English curriculum that aligns with national and state educational standards.
• Create engaging lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to the diverse needs and interests of students.

Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring:

• Assess student progress and proficiency through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods, including quizzes, tests, essays, and projects.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their academic performance, helping them understand their progress and areas for improvement.

Classroom Management:

• Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, participation, and academic success.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies, routines, and procedures to foster a sense of responsibility, respect, and cooperation among students.

Student Support and Development:

• Provide individualized support and differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of all students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Teaching certification or licensure relevant to the subject and grade level.
• Proven experience in teaching English, with a strong track record of fostering student success.
