Position Overview: The CCA Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing a comprehensive co-curricular activities program that complements the academic curriculum and enhances the overall development of students. The coordinator will work closely with teachers, students, and parents to promote a balanced and enriching school experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Program Development and Management:
• Design and implement a diverse range of co-curricular activities, including sports, arts, clubs, and other enrichment programs.
• Ensure activities are inclusive and cater to the interests and needs of all students.
• Schedule and coordinate activities, ensuring there are no conflicts with the academic timetable.
• Supervision and Support:
• Supervise and support teachers and external providers who lead co-curricular activities.
• Provide training and resources to staff involved in co-curricular programs.
• Monitor the quality and effectiveness of activities and make improvements as needed.
• Student Engagement:
• Encourage student participation in co-curricular activities.
• Organize orientation sessions and promotional events to inform students about available programs.
• Track and report student participation and achievements.
• Communication:
• Maintain clear and open communication with students, parents, and staff regarding co-curricular activities.
• Prepare newsletters, brochures, and other materials to promote programs.
• Address any concerns or issues related to co-curricular activities promptly and effectively.
• Administration:
• Manage the budget for co-curricular activities, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Handle logistical aspects, such as booking venues, arranging transportation, and acquiring necessary equipment and materials.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, including attendance, costs, and feedback.
• Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with academic staff to ensure co-curricular activities complement the educational goals of the school.
• Develop partnerships with external organizations and community groups to enhance program offerings.
• Organize and oversee school events, such as competitions, performances, and exhibitions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Sports Management, Arts, or a related field.
• Experience in organizing and managing school activities or programs.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and parents.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for promoting student engagement and development.
