Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated primary school teacher proficient in both Hindi and Malayalam languages. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and a creative approach to teaching that engages young learners effectively.

Responsibilities:

1. Language Instruction: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Hindi and Malayalam language and literacy, incorporating interactive activities, stories, songs, and games to facilitate language acquisition.

2. Cultural Integration: Introduce students to the rich cultural heritage of Hindi and Malayalam-speaking regions through stories, songs, festivals, and traditions, fostering an appreciation for diversity.

3. Curriculum Development: Develop age-appropriate curriculum materials and resources in Hindi and Malayalam that align with learning objectives and cater to the developmental needs of pre-primary students.

4. Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Assess students' language proficiency and progress regularly, using a variety of methods such as observations, informal assessments, and student work samples.

5. Classroom Management: Create a safe, inclusive, and organized learning environment that encourages active participation, collaboration, and positive behavior among students.

6. Parental Involvement: Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on students' progress, sharing learning resources, and encouraging parental involvement in language learning activities at home.

7. Professional Development: Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and language instruction through professional development opportunities, workshops, and networking with colleagues.

Basic Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (Plus Two/12th grade).
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Empathy: Ability to understand and empathize with the challenges students face.
• Organizational Skills: Effective organization and time management skills.

Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in using computer applications for record-keeping and communicationTop of Form

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Linguistics, or a related field.

2. Proficiency in both Hindi and Malayalam languages, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.

3. Previous experience working with pre-primary or early childhood students, preferably in a multicultural or multilingual setting.

4. Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education, including play-based learning approaches.

5. Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with young children, with the ability to create a warm and supportive learning environment.

6. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a team, including collaborating with colleagues and parents to support students' holistic development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Performance bonus
