Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and experienced High School English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of English literature, language, and grammar, and will be committed to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students. The candidate should be capable of delivering lessons in line with the CBSE curriculum, encouraging critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication among students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching & Instruction:
• Develop and deliver engaging English lessons for high school students, focusing on literature, language skills, writing, grammar, and critical thinking.
• Plan and execute lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum and guidelines.
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles.
• Create and implement formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress.
• Provide individual support to students, addressing their learning needs and guiding them through challenges.
• Student Development:
• Promote the development of students' critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
• Foster an appreciation for literature and writing, instilling a love for the English language.
• Provide regular feedback to students and parents regarding academic progress.
• Professional Development:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest educational trends and teaching strategies.
• Participate in professional development activities, workshops, and conferences to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualifications:
• Post Graduate degree (MA) in English or related field.
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized institution.
• Experience:
• 3-5 years of teaching experience in CBSE-affiliated high schools.
• Proven experience in teaching English literature and language at the high school level.
• Strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum and examination patterns.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Excellent command over English, both written and spoken.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students, promoting a love for the subject.
• Adaptability and willingness to incorporate innovative teaching methods and technologies.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to assess and address the diverse learning needs of students.

Work Environment:

• The position requires the teacher to work within the school's regular hours, with additional responsibilities during school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.
