Job Role & Responsibilities:

Legal Capital is seeking experienced and dedicated advocates for handling a diverse range of cases in various courts, including both civil and criminal matters, as well as Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) cases. As an advocate, you will be responsible for representing clients in high courts and lower courts and ensuring efficient case management through research, preparation, and presentation of cases.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Handling civil and criminal case matters.
• Representing clients at various court levels (High Courts, District Courts, Sessions Courts).
• Preparing and filing legal documents and petitions.
• Conducting legal research and providing well-reasoned advice to clients.
• Managing Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) cases, including filing applications, responses, and representing clients in hearings.
• Interacting with clients to understand their legal issues and provide solutions.
• Keeping clients informed about the progress of their cases.
• Drafting legal notices, complaints, and other necessary legal documents.
• Attending court hearings, presenting arguments, and participating in case discussions.
• Drafting, reviewing, and finalizing legal documents, petitions, and pleadings.

Skills & Requirements:

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Experience in handling civil, criminal, and DRT cases.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Proven experience in High Courts and lower court litigation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Law degree (LLB) with relevant experience.
• Freshers with strong legal knowledge are also encouraged to apply.
