Experience Range5 to 9 YearsManage and maintain Heroku applications including deployments scaling and monitoringDesign develop and maintain relational databases on the Heroku platformCollaborate with other developers to ensure database schema and data integrityWrite efficient and optimized SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulationImplement and maintain database security measures including access control encryption and auditingTroubleshoot and resolve database performance issuesMonitor database health and performance metricsStay up to date with the latest Heroku database features and best practicesContribute to the development of internal tools and processes related to Heroku database managementWork closely with other teams including product design and operationsQualifications3 years of experience developing and managing relational databases1 year of experience as a Heroku Administrator or similar roleStrong understanding of SQL syntax and best practicesProven experience as a Heroku Administrator or similar roleProficiency in at least one database language eg PostgreSQL MySQLExperience with database performance tuning and optimizationFamiliarity with cloud computing concepts and technologiesExperience with CI CD pipelines and automated testing for database changesExcellent problem solving and debugging skillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBonus PointsExperience with Salesforce platform including Sales Cloud Service Cloud and AppExchangeExperience with database migration tools eg Flyway LiquibaseExperience with data warehousing and analyticsExperience with specific Heroku database add ons and services
