Helpers (packers & Movers)
Job Description
A production helper in a food factory may perform a variety of tasks, including:
• Operating equipment : Starting and stopping equipment, lubricating it, and pulling damaged equipment off the line
• Loading and unloading : Moving items onto and off of carts, dollies, and machines
• Measuring and mixing : Measuring and pouring ingredients, and mixing them together
• Cleaning : Sweeping, mopping, and removing debris from the production area
• Shipping : Packing finished products and preparing them for shipment
• Following safety guidelines : Adhering to safety guidelines for handling materials and production
• Meeting deadlines : Ensuring that production deadlines are met
• Reporting issues : Reporting any problems or issues with production to a supervisor
