Job Description

• Production Support :
• Assist in operating machines and equipment under the supervision of operators.
• Load and unload raw materials, packaging materials, or finished products.
• Monitor production lines for efficiency and report any issues to supervisors.
• Cleaning and Maintenance :
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and tools.
• Follow sanitation protocols to ensure hygiene standards.
• Assist in cleaning machines during routine maintenance or product changeovers.
• Material Handling :
• Transport raw materials and products within the plant using manual or mechanical means (e.g., trolleys, forklifts).
• Ensure proper stacking and storage of goods.
• Inspection and Quality Checks :
• Perform basic visual inspections of products for defects.
• Assist in sorting or reworking defective items as per guidelines.
• Safety and Compliance :
• Follow all workplace safety rules and procedures.
• Wear protective gear (PPE) as required, such as gloves, masks, or hairnets.
• Report hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Miscellaneous Tasks :
• Assist in packaging, labeling, or sealing products.
• Support supervisors and operators with any additional tasks as needed.

• 1 2 th only

Experience

• No prior experience is required, but experience in a manufacturing or food plant environment is an advantage.
• On-the-job training is usually provided.
