Job Summary:

We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Helper to support our technical teams. The ideal candidate will assist Fitters and Electricians with various tasks, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our scientific facilities. This is an entry-level position that offers an opportunity to learn and grow within a technical environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist Fitters with the assembly, installation, and repair of mechanical components.
Help Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
Carry tools, equipment, and materials to and from work areas.
Clean and organize work areas and equipment.
Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
Follow instructions and complete tasks as directed by senior technicians.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Perform general labor duties as needed.
Assist with the loading and unloading of materials.
Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude.

Qualifications and Skills:

Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Basic understanding of safety procedures.
Prior experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
