• Operate heavy vehicles such as dump trucks, cement mixers, excavators, and other construction machinery.
• Transport construction materials, equipment, and personnel to and from construction sites.
• Safety Compliance:
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure safe operation of vehicles.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or equipment damage immediately to supervisors.
• Vehicle Maintenance:
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles as needed.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents.
• Complete daily logs and reports as required by the company and regulatory authorities.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with construction site managers, engineers, and other team members to coordinate transportation and logistics.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials and equipment.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding the operation of heavy vehicles.
• Hold and maintain the necessary driving licences and certifications required for operating heavy vehicles.
• Qualifications:
• Valid heavy vehicle driving licence (appropriate class) issued by the state of Kerala.
• Proven experience as a heavy vehicle driver in a construction or related industry.
• Knowledge of road safety regulations and vehicle maintenance.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Physical fitness and the ability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and operating heavy machinery
• Additional Requirements:
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
• Familiarity with the local area and routes in and around Kochi.
