Duties
Working in the Facility Management section of the U.S. Consulate General, Mumbai the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Maintenance Worker carries out maintenance and repair work to all mission buildings and facilities including residential owned and leased properties.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the repair and maintenance of commercial or industrial HVAC systems is required. (Please describe your previous and current job responsibilities in detail.)
Key Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required. (See Education requirements)
• Minimum three (3) years related work experience (See Experience section)
• English, Hindi and Marathi language is required. (See language section)

Education Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required and/or completion of vocational training from an accredited institute recognized as producing journeyman level technicians with specialization in the HVAC field is required.

Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Limited knowledge (speaking, reading and writing) of English is required. Good working knowledge (speaking, reading and writing) in Hindi/Marathi is required. (This may be tested). The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
