- Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety programs and policies in compliance with regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and assess risks.
- Collaborate with management to establish safety goals and objectives for the site.
- Provide safety training and orientation to new employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks to reinforce safe work practices.
- Lead investigations into workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents and analyze data to identify trends.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Monitor work activities to ensure adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans for various scenarios.
- Conduct drills and exercises to test emergency response procedures.
- Promote a culture of safety and accountability among employees.
- Communicate safety-related information and updates to employees through various channels.
- Recognize and reward employees for their contributions to safety initiatives.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., CSP, ASP, OHST) desirable.
- Proven experience in safety management, preferably in an industrial or construction setting.
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred).
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., CSP, ASP, OHST) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in safety management or related field, preferably in an industrial or construction setting.
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and develop effective safety solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in conducting safety inspections, incident investigations, and safety training sessions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
