Experience-:10/15 Years Should have Knowledge in Chemical Industry

Responsibilities-: To drive the vision of "zero harm" amongst all employees (Company & Contractors') Reduction in incidents & dangerous occurrences and deriving effective CAPA. 2. (a) Enhancing the HSE culture amongst all the employees (Company & Contractors') by training, awareness and with effective communication and ensure that PPE are maintained, used by employees and reissued. (b) Ensure HSE induction training imparted to all visitors & Customers and issue of PPE and ensure HSE induction to all new employees and contractors & issue of PPE. (c) To organize meeting with contractors to ensure safety of their workmen and discuss the issues. 3. Implementation of motivational programs like a. Celebration of national safety day. b. Celebration of world environment day. c. Fire service day. d. Safety campaigns. 4. Ensure safe access system and visual display in view of visitors & customers representative's plant assessment visit 5. Cost reduction: (a) Maintaining cost of PPE and other HSE activities within approved budget. (b) Optimizing life of PPE by guiding purchase department for quality purchase. (c) Reduction in maintenance cost of fire fighting system by timely preventive maintenance and imparting necessary training to user. 6. Ensure that Work Permit System is effective. 7. To organize safety Committee Meetings and implement the minutes. 8. Ensures timely & qualitative completion of goal setting & appraisal cycle for self & department. 9. To monitor and maintain plant, machines & materials in safe and Hygienic working condition. 10. To educate and train the employees based on TNI to improve the safety awareness and to motivate them for safe working and invites suggestions from them. 11. Study of unsafe action and unsafe conditions for implementation in the different techniques and methods to minimize them. 12. To organize the training, drills, display of posters and other activities for creating awareness among employees for safety, Occupational Health, First-aid, cleanliness and Fire Fighting. 13. To check and maintain Fire Fighting Equipments and Systems. 14. To implement the Safety Policy, On-site Emergency Plan and Disclosure of information. 15. To organize Safety Audit, Inspection & Checking of equipments through Competent Person..

To safeguard Occupational health and safety of all employees. 2. To check and maintain the records like - Health reports, major and minor accident/incident reports. 3. Study and investigation of different types of accidents and Occupational diseases & near miss incidents. 4. Medical attention to injured person in case of accident. 5. To advice for effective control on personal injuries and Occupational diseases and educate the employees for proper use of Personal Protective Equipments. 6. Insurance procedures regarding accidents, personal injuries and disablement compensation. 7. Administration of Occupational Health Centre.
