Job Description


POSITION: Head \xe2\x80\x93 Training and Assessments JOB DESCRIPTION: As the Head of Training and Assessments, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs and assessment processes to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with various departments skilling centres, Centre of Logistics Training for Excellence (COLTE), National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Logistics companies, Training partners, Assessment agencies to identify training needs, design relevant programs, and measure the effectiveness of these initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with all stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify training needs.
  • Design and develop comprehensive training programs, including content creation, materials, and resources.
  • Conduct training sessions or coordinate with trainers, Training centres of LSC,
NSDC, MSDE to deliver content effectively.
  • Utilize various training methods, including workshops, online learning, and on-the- job training, to address different learning styles with blended mode of teaching.
  • Administer assessments and evaluate performance of Training and Assessments agencies.
  • Collect and analyse assessment data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Managing the team of Training and Assessments.
  • Monitor and maintain training and assessment schedules.
  • Allocate resources, such as trainers, training facilities, materials, and technology, to support the training activities listed in the calendar.
  • Keeping records of all training activities, including schedules, attendance, evaluations, and any certification or qualification awarded.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders, such as HR, department heads, and external training providers, to ensure that the training calendar aligns with overall organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with National Council for Vocational Education and Training
(NCVET) / MSDE / NSDC regulations.
  • Regularly review and update training and assessment programs to reflect changes in industry trends and best practices.
  • Implement feedback from participants and stakeholders to enhance training content and delivery.
  • Develop and manage the training and assessment budget.
  • Should work very closely with Logistics companies to drive paid programs,
Recognition of prior learning programs and Online suite of programs designed by LSC.
  • Achieve revenue targets set by the management.
  • Create a pool of external trainers in LSC\xe2\x80\x99s database.
  • Identify cost-effective solutions to deliver high-quality training and assessment programs.
QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS:
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a relevant field. (MBA Preferred)
  • Advanced degree or certification in training and development is a must.
  • English and Hindi is a must.
  • 10+ Years of Logistics background (Any sub \xe2\x80\x93 sectors)
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing training and assessment programs.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of various training methods, learning technologies, and assessment tools.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Project management skills.
  • Data analysis and reporting abilities.
  • Proficiency in e-learning platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Adaptability to changing business needs.
  • Sales and Marketing skills.
