About the role

  • Own and Drive Local Industry Segment Sales to ensure results are fully aligned with the business segment plans
  • Implementation of Business Strategy Plans
  • Provide Geographical Input to Marketing for the Development, update & implementation of the 3-year market plan based on constant review of the value chain intelligence for assigned segments
  • Drive the net sales and margin
  • Manage the Receivables, DSO and Overdues in an effective way
  • Execute the pricing strategy by segment and participate in pricing and contract negotiations with Key Customers
  • Set up Local price list with the Marketing Team
  • Ensure Strong Leadership on Credits and Complaints
  • Provide 0-18 month forecast on a Monthly Basis in a most accurate way
  • Make Route to Market Recommendations (Direct, Distributor etc.) based on business input
  • Provide Strong Leadership to the organization. Ensure good interface with the CI and Marketing Team
  • Ensure Full Compliance of the EHS Requirement in the geographical area under control and provide appropriate EHS reports
Qualification and Experience
  • B.Tech, M.Tech, in food technology/ oil technology / chemicals
  • MBA in Sales / General management
  • 15-20 plus years of experience in a managerial role in Sales/ Marketing or Business Development
  • Ability to interact with cross functional teams and drive collaboration
  • Fluency in English Language is a must
  • Experience in Food Industry (Specialty Oils and Fats) preferred
