Our client is looking to hire a lead for safety, ESG and Sustainability to setup and lead the vertical for their existing and upcoming portfolio PAN IndiaAs the Chief Safety & Sustainability Officer (CSSO), you\'d be responsible for ensuring that the organization maintains the highest standards of safety and sustainability across all its operations. Your job description might include the following responsibilities: * Developing Safety Policies: Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards.

• Safety Training and Education: Oversee the development and implementation of safety training programs for employees at all levels to promote awareness and understanding of safety protocols.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments of workplace environments, processes, and equipment to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
• Incident Management: Establish protocols for responding to and managing workplace incidents, accidents, and emergencies, and lead investigations to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences.
• Sustainability Strategy: Develop and execute the organization\'s sustainability strategy, incorporating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into business practices and operations.
• Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards, including waste management, pollution control, and conservation initiatives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, regulatory agencies, and community organizations, to promote a culture of safety and sustainability and address concerns or feedback.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track safety and sustainability performance, and regularly assess progress against targets.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to continuously improve safety and sustainability practices, technologies, and processes, incorporating best practices and industry innovations.
• Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and board of directors on safety and sustainability performance, initiatives, and challenges.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for safety and sustainability programs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve objectives.
• Partnership and Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments and external partners, such as industry associations and NGOs, to share knowledge, resources, and best practices related to safety and sustainability.

• BE / B. Tech with 18+ Years of experience in driving HSE & ESG Functions preferably in Construction / Real Estate Industry
• Preferably Post Graduate Degree in Health, Safety & Environment. ESG Certification would be desirable
• Good Communication skills
• Good Team management and leadership skills
