#### Roles and Responsibilities:


• Ensure the safety of all employees with safe working practices.
• Achieve production efficiencies with optimum cost.
• Perform various functions and liaison with suppliers, to meet the needs of the production requirements.
• Roll pass design for the establishment of new sizes and products, to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure that quality standards are followed, and customer satisfaction is exceeded.
• Ensure input material is managed, in addition to following-up with other agencies.
• Implement continual improvement of project activities in production.
• Implement and monitor various quality tools.
• Conduct development projects and various trials, for the improvement of functional activities.
• Monitor routine health check-ups for individual self, as well as subordinates.
• KPI study, data collection, analysis, and delegation to the team.
• Support and guide the team to achieve the KPI targets.
• Motivate the team to come up with ideas and suggestions for process improvement.
• Conduct and approve CAPEX project studies.
• Conduct Augmentation Projects (Wire Rod Mill & Kock's Block under technical study).
• Identify EBITDA project opportunities, and gain study. (Fire Crack Resistant Rolls)
• Improve KPI selection and assigning/assisting the team. (Furnace Oil Consumption)
• Direct drives related to TQM & Deming Awards.
• Budget - Threshold/Target and Stretch production limits/Costing/and Monitoring.
• Monitor fixed & variable costs, budgeting.
• Provide data analysis and decision-making support.
• Ergonomics, Motion study, Work-study, and Time study in the activities of the Rolling Mill for downtime reduction (E.g., Avoid crane in change overs).
• Oversee the Rolling Mill, Furnace, and General Operations.
• Administer the handling of Garret Coiler, Eden Borne Coiler, and other Coils.
• Enable the commissioning of Cooling bed operations, WRM Erections, and Twin channel operations.

#### Position Requirements:


• A competent professional with 25 years of experience in Plant Operations, Production Planning & Control, New Product Development, Compliance Management, and Resource Management in Large-size Steel Manufacturing Industries.
• Should hold an Undergraduate Degree in B. Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Required to possess key skills related to being an Operational Head.
