Job Description


:Head - Product & Portfolio Management will lead the product proposition. The role will be responsible for creating a product proposition, contribute in business plan and go to market strategy and roll-out of the product. As the head of product, the role will be responsible for growth, profitability, retention and asset quality of the Credit Card product.Key highlights of the role are listed below (purely indicative and not limiting):

  • As a part of the leadership team, contribute to the development of the business strategy and ensure alignment of the organization to the same.
  • Develop and motivate the staff in obtaining the right skills and capabilities required to meet the business objectives.
  • Develop a talent pipeline of high potential employees and hiring and developing the talent pool and ensure the retention of talent needed of achieve the business objectives.
  • As a part of the Leadership team, participate in the key decision-making processes such as Business strategy, product offering, risk and financial planning and ensure achievement of the Business KPIs.
  • Will be responsible for setting up guidelines and policies to ensure the business is in line with the BOBCARD overall objectives.
  • Managing and coordinating with all stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, IT, Risk and Collections.
  • Set up and lead sub-functions like market segmentation, portfolio management and product development within the team.
  • Own the product roadmap for team, and should be responsible for setting priorities, backed up by data and customer feedback
  • Be the voice of customers, and ensure a high-quality customer experience
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery cycle of product features, including roll-out to customers and across the internal team
  • Will be responsible for maintaining the ideal product portfolio aimed at the identified target customer segments including introduction of new products and retiring of unprofitable products.
  • Identify and define the key metrics and indicators for tracking the performance of Credit Card business, work with the leadership for setting the targets for the cards portfolio and drive the initiatives / campaigns to achieve the same.
  • Work with the technology team in ensuring the availability of technology and capability to support the expansion in Credit Card portfolio and features offered in a rapidly evolving business environment.
  • Work with Marketing team in designing and driving advertising and promotional campaigns focused towards increasing visibility of product and enhancing the Credit Card portfolio.
  • Managing relationships with card schemes viz. Visa, Mastercard and NPCI.
  • Identify the risks associated with the Cards portfolio and safeguard the business from potential risks.
  • Providing inputs to set the Service Agreement and Turnaround times within the card operations to drive customer satisfaction.
  • Should know the Fintech and BFSI ecosystem very well.
  • Should be comfortable with new technology developments around the fintech sector.
  • Should be able to build long term strategic relationships, preferably involving channel partners.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic relationships with current and potential partners and large enterprises mostly in Banks, NBFC, Housing Finance companies.
  • Develop collaboration plans for key partners, and develop product adoption and customer success plans. The solutions offering can be in Co-lending tie-ups, Technology implementation of our key solutions.
  • Take overall responsibility for managing the strategic relationship including relationship management and new lead generation.
  • Act as a liaison between internal Product team of the company and Partners to communicate about new product developments, weekly updates, setting expectations right between the partners and teams, connecting with sales managers to get the feedback, and apprise the management.
  • Understand the relative strength of competitors within strategic partners, if any.
