Responsible for Logistics - Supply Chain Procurement, Inbound & Outbound Warehouse operations, PPC & Logistics Engineering Design and Packaging Design of Pune Plant
Key Skills Required: -
Planning, Budgeting Production in Plant and at regional Level.
Managing a team size of 20 \xe2\x80\x93 25 White collars at different Levels within supply chain.
Understand Timelines for Imports/domestic procurement and guide the teams.
Plant Import and Domestic suppliers Procurement.
Budget and manage expedited freight for imports and domestic components.
Manage Job work Suppliers and logistics involved.
Key Responsibilities: -
Planning, Managing of Production Planning in Plant and at APAC Level.
Planning, Managing of Warehouse Activities & supply chain with Team
Plant Import and Domestic suppliers Procurement.
Project \xe2\x80\x93 Combine, Sugarcane, Cotton Picker, Balers, Tractors, ID10 Cabins coordination with Platform and customers.
Coordination, Monitoring, Execution of Packaging Planning, Manage material flow for Subcontracting Activities
Plant Logistics Planning, Infrastructure, Coordination with APAC Central team, Project Teams
Inbound Logistics set up for Make Assembly Parts.
Budgeting and Budget Monitoring Capex and Revenue items
Inventory management & Inventory Provision and Obsolescence Reporting and Disposal.
Manage the scrap yard and Gas / Oil / Paint storage yards.
Manage the Inventory accurately and support Statutory Audits during the year
Working with Central Team for discussion and Implementation of New Initiatives and New Programs.
Logistics Engineering \xe2\x80\x93 Logistics layout, tools, trolleys and packaging standards, and logistics process within the plant and with suppliers.
Review of Objectives, KPI of Team
Setting up Team and Allocate responsibilities and monitor the same
Logistics Costs Calculation for GPC update.
Complete Warehouse & internal & external Transport management
Initiation/execution of Part Transfers-Proto/Spare Parts
Initiating and Implementing CNH Processes
Implementation of CBS systems within the plant Logistics
Leadership/Team Management Responsibility:
People Management including safety, kaizen, problem solving, skill development of team
Team management, Team motivation, Awards, & recognition
Strategic management
Implementation and following CBS initiatives in day-to-day work culture & calibration
Managing the supplier base for fluctuation and low volumes.

Education/Qualifications:
BE (Mechanical), Post Graduate Diploma in Materials management, Supply Chain Management is preferable.
Essential experience and skills:
25-30 years in all sub functions leading roles.
Ability to lead team size of 25~30 White collar HCs.
Must have strong passion to drive business continuity & driving excellence.
Should have strong analytical & speedy decision-making capabilities
Spontaneous and Strategic in Communication
Internal: Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, Supplier Quality Engineering, Plant Quality, Engineering, Product development Purchasing, FINANCE, Taxation, HR/ADMIN, Transport Logistics
External: Direct Suppliers, WMF, Freight Forwarders, CHA, Statutory Auditors, Service Providers, Transporters, Equipment suppliers, IT service providers.
Provide a list of major challenges/problem solving requirement the incumbent will expect to face/deal with in this position
Ensuring the continuous and consistent supply from suppliers under high fluctuation of sales forecasts
Managing the inventory @ 1000MNR and WIP to meet slow moving products
Establishing the process and procedure for the SCM function
Re-structuring warehousing space by deploying different methods for storage to manage Slow moving inventory and be flexible to the changing needs.
