Job Description


Role Responsibilities

Accountable for successful delivery & management of project initiatives undertaken by the team. Act as Chief Product owner for current, future projects and deliver core responsibilities. Manage, mentor, empower & develop team to deliver projects seamlessly, on time & within budget

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage/ Prioritize Hive backlog (CPO) and team backlog (PO)
  • Represent the Refinement Forum in QPR/MPR meetings
  • Accountable to develop, maintain and communicate project\'s vision and roadmap to squads and stakeholders
  • Accountable for managing the budget and P&L for their product(s)
  • Provide necessary clarity to POs on prioritisation and empower them to make independent delivery decisions in alignment with scorecard
  • Make decisions when there are conflicting priorities or trade-off decisions required across multiple POs
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment in the Refinement Forum ahead of submissions into the QPR
  • Facilitate removal of blockers and impediments, including escalating and making decisions when there are conflicting priorities or trade-off decisions required across multiple product owners
  • Ensure that costs incurred on their product are appropriately capitalised and impaired when appropriate
Strategy

Consults with stakeholders to analyse, define, and prioritize business requirements, functional and operational specifications for FMO Projects/Programmes. Formulates and defines program scope and objectives for the work stream with thorough understanding of business processes in a specific business domain.

Cost & Budget
  • Budget preparation for all project initiatives (both transformation resources & SMEs)
  • Ensure FMO project resources recharge respective project cost centre in clarity every month
Business
  • An understanding of FM products, FMO functions, processes, and regional market environments.
People and Talent
  • Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and work in collaboration with risk and control FMO and Technology partners.
  • Assist management and track capacity for colleagues assigned to projects/programmes
Risk Management
  • Compile, track and monitor all risks and issues related to project/programme delivery
  • Document new processes and procedures resulting from Change delivery against the Operational Risk Framework and ensure its highlighted to management to review
Governance
  • Support business case development that can be fed into global investment portfolio governance or FMO change governance / steerco

Other Responsibilities \xe2\x80\x93 Ensure product owners provide the required support listed below
  • Provides technical co-ordination concerning business implications of complex application development projects between FMO SME and Technology partners
  • Supports testing of new or enhanced applications and/or systems and co-ordinate UAT between FMO testers. Compile daily communication to management to provide latest updates of migration
  • Gather and analyses information and develops recommendations to address major business objectives that span multiple, global business and technology areas.
  • Works with business and technology teams to develop technology solutions and reduce the requirement for Day 2 solutions
  • Trains users on new or enhanced applications and/or systems where possible
  • Serves as point of contact or subject matter expert for the business on specific systems.
Our Ideal Candidate

Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in FM products and related project experience
  • Ideally 1+ years, experience in Agile as a Product Owner (or similar role), with strong skills of maintaining and prioritizing a backlog
  • Deep understanding of client needs to create a value proposition and a Vision for the Hive
  • Understanding of existing processes and practices to generate new Hive opportunities to support the Vision
  • Critical thinking, ability to find new solutions outside traditional frameworks and make radical change in the organization
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas and alternatives
  • Ability to work with Squads to transparently track progress, shape and prioritise required interventions
  • Ability to drive business performance by establishing effective working processes and creating clear set of ambitious objectives for Squads
  • Influences key actions and decisions by building a data-driven culture and encouraging Squads to look for supporting facts
  • Ideally with relevant experience of a people leader with proven delivery of objectives and key results
  • Embodies traits of a servant leader, who is highly pragmatic, enabling and motivational
  • Strong focus on creating the next generation of leadership
  • Proven willingness to "roll up one\'s sleeves \xe2\x80\x9c, work and study outside of one\'s comfort zone

  • Product Owner certification preferred
