The Head of Operations - Travel will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and group travel operations. This leadership position involves comprehensive management and oversight of all aspects related to MICE and group travel, from initial inquiries to the successful delivery of services. The individual in this role will act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met with excellence and precision.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the travel and hospitality industry, specifically in the context of MICE and group travel. The Head of Operations will be responsible for negotiating and closing deals, managing relationships with clients and suppliers, and ensuring the seamless execution of all events and travel arrangements. This includes coordinating with internal teams to align efforts and ensure the highest level of service delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales orientation and be driven to achieve and exceed revenue targets. They will work closely with the sales team to generate leads, participate in sales calls, and contribute to the overall sales strategy. Additionally, the Head of Operations will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Success in this role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a customer-centric approach. The Head of Operations will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met, leading to repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities will be as below:

Handle and respond to MICE queries, groups, negotiate and close deals, and manage queries from start to finish.

? Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, agent servicing, Accounts, to ensure successful delivery on commitments and payments.

? Assist in generating sales and revenue for the company through calls and work towards achieving targets.

? Take full responsibility for providing excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction, resolving customer complaints and concerns as needed.

? Answer incoming calls from agents, providing accurate information and addressing their needs effectively.

? Track and analyze production data, identify trends, and provide insights through monthly synopses.

? Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation to track client interactions and feedback.

? Tailoring offers and recommendations based on individual client preferences, delivering exceptional customer service.

? Meeting or surpassing assigned sales targets through proactive sales management and adherence to performance metrics.

•Candidate Qualifications: •To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

? Bachelor's degree or higher in Tourism/Travel, Hospitality, or a related field

? Min 10 years of experience in MICE and group operations

? Demonstrated success in managing and leading teams.

? Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey the value of our services to clients.

? Strong problem-solving, negotiation skills, and the ability to close deals, enabling you to address client needs with professionalism and efficiency.

? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

? Results-driven and goal-oriented

Pay: ?800,000.00 - ?1,000,000.00 per year
