Head of Technology (Database)

infoAnalytica has serviced more than 250 corporations globally and delivers to industries such as Technology, Software, Telecommunications, Retail, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Financial Services (BFSI), Media and Publishing and Manufacturing. We work extensively with our global customers\xe2\x80\x99 Marketing, Sales and Product Management teams for supporting their marketing and demand generation needs. In this area, we have worked on a range of data build, data prep, data intelligence and analytics requirements and are building our own proprietary platform to deliver scale and value. We are looking for a Technology Head to help us build our next generation Data platform to serve internal and external stakeholders and to manage current databases efficiently. Data is our asset, and we have several million data records. Consolidating these records through mapping, cleaning and transformation is our goal, so that data is consistent, reliable, and easily retrievable, when needed.

Responsibilities:

you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing effective solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading architectural design discussions and driving technical decisions to ensure the successful implementation of projects.
• Provide and guide the team in best practices, technical standards, and quality management including managing code reviews.
• Perform technical research, prototyping, and other exploration activities to recommend technology tools and technologies.
• Provide technical remediation and resolution of technical issues.
• Work in a collaborative team-oriented environment, share information, and value diverse ideas with various cross functional and Application teams, Business Analysts, Python Developers, and Database Developers.
• Provide technical expertise, mentor, and motivate team members.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, innovation, and deployment.
• Prepare solution development estimates including technical planning and dependencies.
• Responsible for designing high level software and feature modules of the Application. It includes research, feasibility, end to end planning, code review, Unit testing and execution of application sprints with resource mentoring and time to time tracking of the initiative and business.

Requirements and qualifications:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• 8-15 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Database Development, Database Design, Database Architecture, Data Warehousing, Performance Tuning, data quality and data cleaning and transformation and in query and performance optimization and application Development.
• Significant hands-on experience with SQL, PostgreSQL & Python.
• Strong in diagnosis and debugging.
• Should have experience with handling team of 20-40 people.
• Very strong knowledge of software development processes.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong understanding of coding standards and best practices in software development.
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration capabilities.
