Job Title: Head of Systems

Location: Andheri, Mumbai

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of System Administrator to lead our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and security of our company's computer systems and networks. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of system administrators & network engineer providing guidance, training, and support
• Design and implement system policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of our IT infrastructure
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, coordinating with other departments and external vendors as needed
• Oversee the installation and configuration of hardware and software components
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to IT systems
• Evaluate new technology and make recommendations for upgrades and improvements
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Manage budget and resources effectively, ensuring cost-efficient operations
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in system administration

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Proven experience (X years) as a system administrator or a similar role, with X years in a leadership position
• Strong technical knowledge of system administration, including operating systems (Windows, Linux), virtualization, networking, and security protocols
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, CISSP) are a plus
