The Employee will be responsible for the development and implementation of sales & marketing strategies in order to exploit the market potentials. Moreover, he will be accountable for expanding Doka\'s presence in the Indian market and will be responsible for managing sales, sales targets, development of a robust marketing strategy profitability management and strategy implementation, in addition to leadership responsibility for the Sales Team across India & SAARC Countries. Moreover, the incumbent will be driving local sales and margin goals and enabling the sales team to perform at higher levels, while being an active part of the Country Leadership Team & will also will focus on PR & external/internal communication, social media and event management. The Employee will also be responsible for positioning and management of the Doka brand in the Indian market.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited:

  • To lead and manage Sales employees and accompany them to reach their individual sales target and identify and ensure trainings and development needs
  • To be an active contributor to the Doka India Country Leadership Team
  • To communicate clearly and collaborate with engineering, finance and operations and ensure smooth and close collaboration between the departments
  • To optimize offer processes (scope of supply incl. services, project calculation, and contract management).
  • To optimize the order process (change orders, claims, service charges) via appropriate monitoring.
  • To visualize the added value of management tools (e.g. Project Calculator, Victori II & III, Cockpit, Sales Dashboard) according to Group standards and to ensure and monitor effective utilization; Maintain expert knowledge for such systems and provide training if needed
  • To analyze competition trends and strategies and come up with counter strategies
  • To conduct market intelligence and identify market needs
  • To identify and solicit potential customers and projects to secure business
  • To build and expand strong and profitable customer relationships
  • To manage and maintain a pipeline capable of delivering the budget
  • To drive sales & margin goals for assigned territory, monthly forecasts including revenue by product & customer and ensure an aggressive growth rate
  • To achieve or overachieve the annual sales target
  • To be responsible for accurate proposals to clients to meet their requirements and ensure margin goals
  • To work with management to produce plans, budgets, forecasts and subsequently delivery against these plans
  • To work with Operations and Engineering teams to ensure proper handover of sales order and that materials for the solution are in stock
  • To be accountable for all credit interactions with the customer including obtaining contractor approval of invoices, making adjustments through credit requests and insuring prompt payment, as well as preparing and distributing monthly account status reports.
  • To ensure payment collection
  • To ensure efficient and compliant projects and contract management
  • To assist in the launch of new products
  • To plan and implement product launch campaigns in collaboration with Country Product Manager
  • To oversee the country marketing budget
  • To create high quality content for web marketing and public relations
  • To ensure production of required marketing collaterals as per corporate guidelines
  • To organize customers events, tradeshow and seminars
  • To provide support to channel partners (such as distributors and builders) in their marketing and communication
  • To lead, support & provide guidance to the Engineering & Formwork Instructors team.
  • To work closely with global and regional counterparts when required
Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree with a concentration in Business, Engineering or Construction preferred.
  • 10+ years related sales management with major project and account sales experience within the concrete forming industry or related construction equipment industry.
  • Strong management/leadership skills, capable of commanding respect.
  • Consistently handles confidential information with a highest level of integrity and delivers the highest standards of service to customers.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, follow-up and negotiation skills.
  • Effectively manages multiple tasks and handles all responsibilities with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Takes initiative, manages time effectively, and manages and adjusts priorities based on business demands.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and its marketplace.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Excellent communication skills including command of English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Qualitative abilities including strong analytical skills, technical proficiency and effective selling and problem solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency using Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be able to quickly and creatively give sales presentations to potential customers concerning his/her qualifications and experience level, the company\'s history and experience and the features and benefits of Doka products
