Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
? Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market
penetration goals.
? Identify and prioritize target markets and customer segments within the retail and e-
commerce technology space.
? Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and
relationship-building.
Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:
? Cultivate and manage relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at target
accounts.
? Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations to close high-value deals.
? Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored
solutions.
Team Leadership and Development:
? Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to
achieve individual and team goals.
? Foster a collaborative and results-driven sales culture, encouraging continuous learning and
professional growth.
? Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance
reviews.
Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis:
? Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to
identify opportunities and threats.
? Gather and analyze customer feedback, market data, and sales metrics to inform product
development and sales strategies.
? Collaborate with the product management and marketing teams to refine value propositions
and messaging.
Sales Operations and Reporting:
? Oversee sales operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
? Implement and manage sales processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and
effectiveness.
? Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales performance and
identify areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree
preferred.
? 7+ years of experience in B2B enterprise tech sales, preferably with a strong focus on retail
and e-commerce technology solutions.
? Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
? Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
? Strong leadership and team management abilities.
? Deep understanding of the retail and e-commerce technology landscape and customer
needs.
? Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
? Experience with SaaS or cloud-based products.
? Established network within the retail and e-commerce technology industry.
? Prior experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
