To meet our challenges, we are looking for a Head of Industrial Purchase, India within the Procurement team! This position will be located in Mumbai.

Your experience and talents will make the difference to:
Leading Procurement for various spend categories of the Company, meeting objectives as identified by the Procurement Strategy. Responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts with suppliers, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that the company obtains the best value through sourcing. The role also involves working closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that procurement alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives. Candidate also plays a critical role in optimizing the company's procurement processes through the use of automation, documented processes, demand flow technologies, and a team of engaged and empowered employees to continuously meet and surpass stake holders expectations.• Develop and implement procurement strategies for fuel purchase, power purchase, logistics, packaging, Chemicals, CAPEX and other spend categories.
• Adopting and developing 360 degree category management for each category
• Negotiate high value and critical contracts with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company
• Leading supplier relationships including periodic assessment and continuous improvement
• Lead category management activities including understanding requirement, market analysis, sourcing strategy, supplier selection, and supplier performance management.
• Identify, analyze, and develop a consolidated supplier base for each category to meet current and future needs
• Driving procurement competitivity projects across all the spend areas
• Provide Guidance to respective Category Buyers in view of Roquette Global Management System and the golden rules of purchase.
• Manage a team of procurement professionals to ensure effective procurement operations.
• Develop and implement sustainable procurement strategies to support the company's sustainability goals.
• Drive ERP/digitization initiatives to improve procurement processes and increase efficiency
• Defining goals for the team and manager performance
• Lead the budgeting exercise for each category based on SI&OP process
• Develop, Own, authorize and control budget for purchasing
• Leading the overall sourcing process and ensure compliance in line with company's policies
• Driving continuous improvement and leading transformational projects in all aspects of strategic procurement activities
• Engage with global category leads and develop alignment with India sourcing strategy
• Implementing Contractor Management as per policy and legal framework

And also ...• 15+ years related experience in a medium to high-volume industrial manufacturing environment. Working on food or pharma related segments of MNC and metrics organization
• Bachelor's degree in a Technical discipline, Engineering
• Management Degree/ Diploma
• Open to travel, business trips - 20%
