To help us fulfil this mission, we are looking for a customer-obsessed marketer to drive a key priority for the business which is to accelerate the growth and acquisition of our export programs and products for our target audiences across India. If you want to operate at start up speed, solve some of the hardest problems and help build programs that will help sellers build global brands, this role might just be the right one for you. The Head of Growth Marketing will hold a leadership position within Amazon Global Trade marketing team, overseeing a team of performance marketers to develop acquisition marketing plans focused on delivering efficient growth of Amazon Global Selling program and products. This role will be located in Bangalore/Delhi. With this role, you will join a fast growing team that looks at the big picture of overall ecommerce exports ecosystem which consists of sellers, facilitators like logistics partners, compliance partners, and other relevant entities such as the government and policymakers. The ideal candidate will have a background leading acquisition based marketing teams with experience in digital performance channels. They will have the ability to challenge performance marketing plans at a granular level (including but not limited to user journeys, spend allocations, creative and targeting strategies) as well analyzing the broader acquisition strategy to understand interrelationships between channels and proposing optimisations to drive incremental growth from media investment. They will partner closely with media agencies, internal business insights teams and finance, developing yearly and quarterly spend and subscription forecasts backed up by robust data and a clear narrative. The ideal candidate will have exceptional commercial acumen, be highly analytical with the ability to draw the line between marketing plans and business outcomes. The leader will develop strong relationships with international and US counterparts to share learnings and insights between marketplaces and drive an effective operating process globally. They will influence senior stakeholders coordinating with leaders across Asia and global to drive results and have a strong track record in coaching and developing teams. Key job responsibilities Oversee, develop and drive alignment on the performance marketing strategy and budget allocation for Amazon India export programs and products Manage the performance marketing team to meet or exceed growth targets and improve Return on Investment (ROI) Deliver acquisition outcomes within financial objectives through annual budget preparation and ongoing forecasting and monitoring results Manage the acquisition marketing forecasting process and output, ensuring robust methodology and accuracy Write new playbooks on seller/customer acquisition for business Work closely with content marketing and other teams to build the right content targeting framework across customer cohorts to maximize conversion Work closely with Marketing Analytics and Business Intelligence teams to identify and convert data analysis into actionable insights for customer acquisition Partner with global media centre and global acquisition counterparts to continuously improve our understanding of attribution Collaborate with global counterparts to share knowledge, insights and plans that will help drive performance Work with product teams to implement product initiatives to improve acquisition and develop an understanding of impact Drive superior agency operations, providing feedback to senior agency stakeholders, ensuring the right account structure and support Audit and improve acquisition user journeys and drive continuous improvement through testing Develop, coach and mentor performance marketing team We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Bengaluru, KA, IND BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience - Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements - Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) - Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs - Experience communicating results to stakeholders PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Ability to think strategically and operationally, delivering day to day while defining and leading future direction - 10+ years relevant experience in digital marketing, and/or e-commerce - A demonstrated ability to leverage research to develop strategies and message matrix that deliver business growth - Advance decision-making skills with proven ability to lead influence, align and inspire teams - Ability to work cross-functionally, build relationships with key stakeholders, and thrive in a highly collaborative fast-paced environment - Strong project management skills and experience, including owning end-to-end-solutions, and managing multiple stakeholders and projects at once - Comfortable with ambiguity, and ability to work independently and autonomously - Highly developed verbal and written communication skills ability to write succinct and compelling business reviews and recommendations for Director/VP audiences - Demonstrated quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analysis data to make recommendations and drive decisions
