Recent growth - t.ly/bOv3DWhat are we looking for?We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Director of Finance to join our core team! As a Director of Finance and Accounts you will be responsible for compliance of the Company\'s financial and fiscal policies, providing leadership and coordination in business planning, financial performance, accounting and Budgeting efforts. You will report to the CEO and be responsible for all company financial matters. The position will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.What will you do?1) Financial Strategy and Planning: Developing and executing the company\'s financial strategy aligned with overall business objectives. This involves forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning to support growth initiatives and optimize resources.
2) Financial Reporting and Analysis: Overseeing the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Providing insightful analysis of financial performance to the executive team and board of directors.3) Fundraising and Investor Relations: Managing relationships with existing investors and coordinating fundraising efforts for future rounds of financing. This includes preparing investor materials, participating in investor meetings, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
4) Financial Operations and Controls: Establishing and maintaining robust financial processes, controls, and systems to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This includes managing financial transactions, tax planning, and risk management.5) Cash Management and Treasury: Optimizing cash flow and liquidity management to support the company\'s growth objectives. This involves monitoring cash balances, forecasting cash needs, and managing banking relationships.
6) Strategic Financial Analysis: Conducting in-depth financial analysis and modeling to evaluate strategic initiatives, such as pricing strategies, market expansion opportunities, and potential acquisitions or partnerships.
7) Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and product development, to provide financial insights and support decision-making across the organization. This may involve evaluating the financial impact of new product launches, customer acquisition strategies, and operational improvements.8) Team Leadership and Development: Building and leading a high-performing finance team capable of supporting the company\'s growth trajectory. This includes hiring, training, and mentoring finance professionals, as well as fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
9) Performance Metrics and KPIs: Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor financial performance, track progress against goals, and drive operational efficiency. This may include developing dashboard reports and performance scorecards for internal stakeholders.10) Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A): Evaluating potential M&A opportunities and leading financial due diligence processes for strategic acquisitions or partnerships. This involves assessing target companies, conducting financial analysis, and negotiating deal terms to maximize value for the company.What you must have?A Master\'s Degree in Finance / Professional Finance Qualification / CA/ ACCA or equivalent.
8+ years of proven track record, preferably from a fast growing Series B/C stage B2B SaaS company with
primary business in the US
Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable
insights.
Experience managing financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes, including budgeting, forecasting,
and variance analysis.
Solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS principles and financial reporting requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence
stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of effectively leading and developing high-performing
