This role is critical in establishing global capabilities and best practices around data integration, data platforms, and business insights. As the Head of Enterprise Data & Analytics Capabilities, you will lead a team of 80+ experts to deliver innovative and high-quality enterprise platforms and services.Accountabilities:
You will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of data and analytics platforms and solutions including scalable data pipelines, data lakes, and enabling an enterprise data fabric across the enterprise. You will be a driving force behind the development of new data and analytics solutions, and the integration of emerging technologies to stay ahead of technology transformation and automation. This leader will establish a strong presence through thought leadership and engagement across the enterprise and at external events to ensure engagement and strong talent pipeline.Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in a technical field.
- 10+ years of experience leading large technical teams.
- Experience delivering scaled data and analytics platforms and solutions, with a strong track record of success.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully leading and managing large matrixed teams in a global work environment, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, uncertainty, and stressful situations.- 10+ years of experience leading enterprise data and analytics platforms and related solution delivery.
- Advanced degree in business, data science, or a related field.
- Experience working in a regulated environment with a strong understanding of relevant guidelines, standards, and best practices.
- Experience in life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.
- Vision for data and analytics technologies in a digital business.
