Job Description
We are hiring HODs for the following departments for a leading group of education institutions in Coimbatore.
1. Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)
2. Civil Engineering
3. Computer Science Engineering
4. English.
5. Catering Science & Hotel Management
Requirements :
- Educational Qualification - Masters with Ph.D in the respective domain
- Experience - Minimum 10 years of experience in Teaching at Associate Professor Category / Professor / HOD Grade
- Must have done Research Publications (SCI journals / UGC / AICTE / SCOPUS)
- Must have successfully completed Ph.D Guideship / Mentorship
- Must know Tamil.
- Should be from Coimbatore or open to relocate to Coimbatore.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate faculty and staff for quality education and college goals.
- Plan, monitor department activities, including syllabus, tests, semesters.
- Arrange departmental needs like staff, equipment, books, facilities.
- Develop, maintain labs, convene meetings, assist Principal in admin matters.
- Identify talented students, offer guidance, encourage higher education pursuits.
- Foster research, publications, seminars, industry collaborations.
- Oversee records, syllabus revisions, performance appraisals, and industry interactions.
