Job Description


Description of the role:Content Strategy and Development

  • Strategize, Brainstorm, and Develop Content Partnerships:
o Collaborate with clients to create and execute innovative content, including branded content, brand integrations, activations, influencer marketing, events, rights management, tech innovations, social and PR campaigns, talent management, experiential marketing
  • Execute Content Programs:
o Serve as the day-to-day content expert and point of contact for clients, integrated agency teams, and partners.
o Oversee the execution of content programs from strategy and ideation to creative development and execution, ensuring alignment with client objectives and overall media campaigns.
Team, Client and Vendor Liaison
  • Team Management and Activation:
o Lead content teams and manage the activation of multi-platform distribution plans across digital, linear, and social media.
o Develop and maintain timelines, manage production schedules, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Client and Business Teams Coordination:
o Maintain close communication with clients, business teams, and vendors/partners to ensure deliverables are met and schedules are adhered to.
o Ensure all content-related activities are aligned with the overall media campaign and client objectives.
P& L Responsibility
  • Vision and Management of Content Initiatives:
o Contribute to the vision and management of branded content and entertainment initiatives for clients.
o Develop and present compelling content opportunities that meet client marketing and media objectives.
  • Revenue and P&L Management:
o Own and drive revenue targets for designated regions.
o Ensure P&L compliance to guarantee the successful performance of the content practice.
  • Media Strategy Alignment:
o Build strong relationships with media strategy and investment teams to align content programs with broader strategic priorities.
Industry Trends and Innovation
  • Stay Informed on Trends:
o Keep up-to-date with current trends in content, storytelling, and technology.
o Assess and leverage these trends to benefit client business strategies and objectives.
Execution and Operations Management
  • Program Measurement and Optimization:
o Ensure pre, during, and post-program measurement and optimization plans are in place and aligned with KPIs.
  • Project Management:
o Oversee internal and external work streams and production processes during the creative development phase.
o Produce and manage written and visual materials, including brand briefs, client recommendations, and program overviews.
  • Reporting and Legal Compliance:
o Manage project reports at the end of campaigns and ensure legal contracts are in place from a business perspective.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:
o Proven experience in content strategy and development within a media agency, brand or publisher or similar environment.
o Strong background in managing large-scale content initiatives across multiple platforms and formats.
  • Skills:
o Excellent strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and project management skills.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, teams, and partners.
