It\xe2\x80\x99s an opportunity to be part of something special.About the roleThe Head of Workflow and Automation within the Business Enterprise Applications and Technology team, which is part of the D&T CTO organization, will work closely with teams across Haleon, to define, implement and optimize Automation solutions, in line with the priorities and demand from business teams across all Haleon. You will endeavor to use a range of automation technologies to solve business problems across all value streams within Haleon and help to maximize value for money over the lifecycle of various automation products in the Haleon enterprise landscape. You will partner with other Tech Product & Service teams, third party vendors and service providers to ensure proper functional design, implementation, and support for Automation solutions and ensure standardisation, reusability, continuous improvement and compliance of end-to-end Automation solutions.The Head of Workflow and Automation will be accountable for leading & working with their product team to define, implement and optimize the use of Automation platforms, like Automation Anywhere, IBM Watson, MS Power Automate etc. They will possess strong Automation delivery lifecycle knowledge, automation engagement experience and technical knowhow required to be able to provide technical guidance and advice to the Product Directors/Managers & Experts and business process / delivery owners. Ensure that delivered Automation solutions are functionally fit for purpose, meet the priorities & requirements from our stakeholders (e.g. alignment to business process & solution architecture design principles) and deliver value to our end users. They will have domain specific technical experience and be accountable for technical artifacts (such as system requirements) and ensure full compliance with internal security, risk management policies and practices, external regulatory and statutory requirements.This pivotal role will be a part of our Business Enterprise Applications and Technology team, reporting directly to the Head of Business Enterprise Applications and Technology.Key responsibilitiesLead the workflow and automation capability to support delivery of operational changes for Haleon.Manage all cross functional demand delivery for in scope change. Manage a team including outsourced operational delivery models or for capacity-based engineering teams.Deliver workflow and automation technical capabilities to all new and ongoing business projects and programmes. Accountable for ensuring all products supporting the business are compliant with internal security, risk management policies and practices, external regulatory and statutory requirements e.g. GxP, SARBOX and that Tech continuity plans are in place for all business-critical products.Engage and collaborate with various Business Units who are the Automation/RPA Platform users and informing respective stakeholders for any downtime of the platform and its impact on bots running in production environment.Own the Automation/RPA platform from and oversee vendor teams to ensure ongoing support, ownership of infrastructure and global technical operations/support of the platform.Manage and track workflow and automation benefit realization for Haleon as a single source of truth.Expected ExperienceExceptional understanding of and exposure to enterprise level business processes across domains like, Finance, HR, Procurement etc.10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of working with automation solutions in these areas:Robotic Process Automation on platforms like Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UiPAthOther Automation solutions like Service Now, IBM Watson, Power AutomateProficiency and hand-on exposure to AI/ML based automation solutions is highly desirableUnderstanding of ERP / enterprise platforms like SAP, Workday, SalesforceExperience on working of Cloud based platform solutions and infrastructureProduct/software development tools: A-ha, Jira is a plus.Proven track record in successful technical development/configuration, solution design and product delivery, via Agile and waterfall delivery methodsExperience of gathering business / system functional requirements and translate them into technical design specs, test scenarios/cases & documentation.Experience of troubleshooting various system issues by being able to correctly identify the root cause and providing the technical fix, solution, or workaround.Experience of ensuring Tech solutions are compliant with internal security, risk management policies and practices, external regulatory and statutory requirements.Experience working with third parties in the delivery of working products.Experience of leading & working with teams across diverse countries and cultures effectively, within a large global FMCG or FMCH organisation.Understanding of IT service management for a complex, global serviceDegree educationPlease save a copy of the job description, as this may be helpful to refer to once the advert closes.Diversity, Equity and InclusionAt Haleon we embrace our diverse workforce by creating an inclusive environment that celebrates our unique perspectives, generates curiosity to create unmatched understanding of each other, and promotes fair and equitable outcomes for everyone.We\xe2\x80\x99re striving to create a climate where we celebrate our diversity in all forms by treating each other with respect, listening to different viewpoints, supporting our communities, and creating a workplace where your authentic self belongs and thrives.We believe in an agile working culture for all our roles.
