We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales - MICE to lead our Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sales team. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and enhancing the hotel\'s reputation as a premier destination for MICE events.Experience :Key Responsibilities :Strategic Leadership :- Develop and implement a comprehensive MICE sales strategy aligned with the hotel\'s overall business objectives.- Identify and target key MICE segments, including corporate, association, and government clients.- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the MICE industry.- Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and challenges.Sales Team Management :- Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing MICE sales team.- Set clear sales targets and performance metrics.- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and training to the sales team.- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve exceptional results.Business Development :- Actively seek out new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and industry events.- Conduct site inspections and presentations to potential clients.- Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize revenue and profitability.- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless event execution.Client Relationship Management :- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.- Proactively address client needs and concerns.- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.Revenue Management :- Analyze historical data and market trends to optimize pricing and yield management strategies.- Monitor revenue performance and identify opportunities for improvement.- Implement effective sales and marketing campaigns to drive revenue growth.Qualifications and Skills :- Proven track record in MICE sales and leadership roles within the hospitality industry.- Strong understanding of the MICE market, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners.- Strong organizational and time management skills.- Proficiency in CRM and sales management software.- A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
