Job description: Head Chef

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with a la mode banquets Strategies and brand standards while meeting employee, guest, and owner expectations.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Act as senior leadership by developing and assuming key management responsibilities.
• Assume the role of liaison between all banquet operations and culinary staff
• Supervise the preparation and cooking of various food items
• Develop and implement creative menu items within the banquet concept
• Plan, coordinate & implement special events and functions
• Manage kitchen employees through scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, evaluating and hiring
• Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results
• Monitor food production, ordering, cost, and quality and consistency on a daily basis.

Qualifications:

• In-depth skills and knowledge of kitchen operations
• Possess strong leadership, communication, organization and relationship skills
• Culinary education and/or on the job training, hospitality experience is preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?55,000.00 per month
