Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, from menu creation to food preparation and presentation. You will work closely with the restaurant manager to ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards and that our customers have an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain a creative and innovative menu that reflects market trends and customer preferences
• Supervise all kitchen staff, including sous chefs and line cooks, and ensure a high level of performance and productivity
• Monitor food costs and maintain accurate inventory of all kitchen supplies
• Ensure that food safety and sanitation standards are strictly adhered to at all times
• Collaborate with the restaurant manager to plan and execute special events and catering services
• Train and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance on proper cooking techniques and recipe execution
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all health and safety regulations
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role
• Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes
• Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and evenings
