Job Summary The position is for our brand Alma Bakery & Cafe at Noida (www.almafoods.in).Your role will be to lead kitchen operations at our restaurant and cafe at Noida sector 104 and sector 142 . Role & Responsibilities Keep the menu creative and innovative while also maximizing profitability. They should be able to balance exciting new dishes with tried-and-true favorites, constantly evolving the menu to keep customers engaged and coming back for more. The chef should be able to adapt to fluctuations in demand, planning the menu to optimize staffing levels during both peak and off-peak times. This requires careful forecasting and scheduling to ensure that labor costs are kept in check without sacrificing service quality. Manage multiple kitchen operations menu planning, preparation, presentation & standardization of recipes, quality control, inventory control, cost control & profitability, team management. Monitor the operations of the department to ensure that the food wastage is minimized and monitor the quality of the products as per the specifications and defined standards. Qualification Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management, Excellent culinary skills. Experience Minimum 7 years experience in Continental and/or Italian Cuisine with renowned brand in India or International. Candidate should be expert in Continental and/or Italian Cuisine. Hiring Process Initial discussion with HR team to assess overall fit for the role and the company culture.
