In your role as an HCL Commerce (WCS) Senior Developer, you make the impact we have on our customers measurable. You work for leading brands within the Valtech Digital commerce practice and feel at home in a challenging, international environment in which you collaborate with other experts and support them. What you do A seasoned Senior Developer - Websphere Commerce (WCS) with a minimum of 4+years of industry experience of developing Cross-platform mobile applications minimum since the last 3+ years with below spread of skills and attributes. Java programming, WCS V8 or above Frameworks: WCS, JSP, JavaScript Web services: Restful, WCF, SOAP, and Web API Effective OOPs skills Good to have knowledge of Azure DevOps Breaking down assigned stories into tasks, preparing query logs, and performing other process activities Playing an independent role involving sufficient communication, analytical presentation skills, problem-solving skills, and learning attitude and delivering assigned tasks on time. Experience with at least 2 full lifecycle Commerce projects are required What we ask for Work on HCL Commerce (WCS) Version 8.0+ from requirements analysis through deployment and transition to support. Work on J2EE architecture and development including Servlets, EJBs, JMS, and JSP, web services, XML processing tools, JavaScript and HTML Work on WebSphere Commerce subsystems - Trading, Catalog Management, Order Management, Member Management Sub-system, etc. Understand WCS run-time framework, Struts, front-end components, WCS tag libraries, WCS EJB, and Web Services Work on packaging and deploying Java applications using WebSphere Application Server Work on application architecture, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of web-based application using Java, object-oriented principles and concepts Participate in testing Java and web-based applications, including unit, integration, system, and customer acceptance testing based on defined test plans with specific requirements-driven test cases Invole in development and deployment in a multi-tiered and multi-server application architecture, application servers and web services Use DB2 and developing and executing SQL.
