Job Description

JOB PROFILE FOR HARDWARE & NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

1. Installing, supporting and maintaining new server hardware and software infrastructure; managing email, anti-spam and virus protection;

2. setting up user accounts, permissions and passwords;

3. monitoring network usage;

4. ensuring the most cost-effective and efficient use of servers;

5. suggesting and providing IT solutions to business and management problems;

6. ensuring that all IT equipment complies with industry standards;

7. analysing and resolving faults, ranging from a major system crash to a forgotten password;

8. undertaking routine preventative measures and implementing, maintaining and monitoring network security, particularly if the network connects to the internet;

9. providing training and technical support for users with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence;

10. supervising other staff, such as help-desk technicians;

11. working closely with other departments/organisations and collaborating with other IT staff;

12. planning and implementing future IT developments and undertaking project work;

13. managing the website and keeping internal networks running;

14. monitoring the use of the web by employees.

15. Maintenance of CCTV surveillance system including DVRs & Cameras

16. Manage & maintain RF tower and RF devices

17. Implementation & management of network firewall, antivirus & backup & restore solutions

18. Maintenance of EPBAX systems.

19. Different mobile technologies knowledge including iPhone, Android & Blackberry

20. Managing Access control system

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
